The Little Mermaid

I have enjoyed the re-release of Disney animated movies in theaters!! The latest one I heard of was The Little Mermaid... But now I have read that Disney will no longer put The Little Mermaid in theaters the September. Does anyone know why or have information about this?? Im pretty bummed out!

My understanding is that the movie will be released on blu-ray this October and that they cancelled the theaterical re-release in 3D because as good as the Lion King did, the other 3D re-releases did not do so well financially.
