Is the Lion King going to be released o Platinum edition and is there going to be a special edition soundtrack like B&B?

The Lion King Platinum Edition DVD is expected to be released October 7th, 2003.

I would think they would do a special edition soundtrack but it may already be out. I have no idea at this point.

I haven't seen the special edition soundtrack out, just the traditional one from the original release. Maybe a special edition soundtrack will coincide with the release of the DVD. I dont know, though, b/c the Beauty and the Beast soundtrack was out when the movie was released to IMAX...

They may delay it since a new musical number is being included on the DVD version of movie.
