Trip Report The last Spring Break?!? Let's go out with a bang!

Where/When:
Disney's Grand Californian 2 nights
3/20- Disneyland
3/21-DCA
Aulani, Oahu 3 Nights 3/22-3/25
Hilton Poipu, Kauai 4 night 3/26-3/29

Why: Jet will be off to high school next year.😭 where has the time gone! (Throw back to our very first Disney(land)trip.

Anyways Jet has a bright future both academically and athletically. At curriculum night we met with her future coaches and they let us know Spring break will not be possible in high school with her sports schedule.

As a result we decided now was the time to do our dream trip! Disneyland and Hawaii!

So after ROTR we rode Smugglers Run. The wheels came off for a bit. Everyone was hungry but we could not decide a place to eat. Finally we made a consensus to eat at Tiana's place so back to New Orleans square we trudged. No one appeared happy except Nene and I. She loved her Gumbo and I liked my Mufflata.

These were the coldest Mickey Bars ever. They were rock solid.

Smiles restored to Toon Town we go. My girls have the best memories of playing in Minnie's house. They were desperate to do it again. Until we saw the 60 minute wait. Those old memories will have to last. We had a LL for MMRR which felt like a time warp to WDW.

We immediately booked a LL for Roger Rabbit but had a few minutes to try out the gags.

I asked Handsome what his favorite part of Who Framed Roger Rabbit was? He replied " I've never seen it. I only know who Bugs Bunny is from the movie with Lebron." 🤣 I guess he wasn't the target audience for this ride.

Blurry picture but Handsome enjoyed a clueless whirl. I received a text that our room was ready so we decided to go back to the hotel for a break.

We had connecting "wood view" rooms that looked directly into California Adventure through the trees.

The temps were cooler than we had hope so no one had an interest in the pool. Nene and Jet had an interest in Sephora and Handsome needed to check out Legos so we spent a little time at Downtown Disney before heading back to the Park. Our ride pic from the morning.

We were headed back again to New Orleans Square for dinner. We were really feeling Cajun faire apparently🤣. Everyone except myself ordered Steak and frites. I ordered the Monte cristo which is always delicious. No picture proof except handsome and I playing table games to pass the time.

Our next stop was Haunted Mansion. We had a LL but when we got to the spot where LL and gen pop (as my Hubby refers to standby) there was no castmember to tell us to merge. We waited a little bit deciding if we should just go or wait. The people behind us started getting very rude and telling us we needed to go. It was all very dramatic for a 5 min wait. The castmember returned and thanked us for waiting. I wanted to stick my tongue out at the rude party behind us.

We boarded our doom buggy without further incident and enjoyed our time with the Happy Haunts.

It was finally time for The Wildest Ride in the Wilderness. We adore Disneyland's version. I hope our revamped WDW counterpart includes all their extras.

Time At this point the time change was starting to really catch up to us. We were dragging. We tried a sweet treat.

This area was so relaxing. Another time we would have loved it but relax made us all want to crawl into our beds. We walked to Tomorrowland to ride Buzz but it had a 40 minute wait. We decided to head out. One tiny castle pic before we go.
