I still believe Disney should have offered Warner Bros some money to make Oz continue the original movie. It would have allowed for better continuity and identifiable drawing points. I did think Oz was a good movie though... It just could have been huge if they went this route. Maybe they did and WB wanted no part... We won't know unless we have insider info lol.

From what I understand WB have been pretty formidable about the Oz rights. Although an Oz the Great and Powerful sequel is planned, so who knows perhaps that have stronger links to the original film.

Disney did an unofficial sequel to MGM's Oz, it's called Return to Oz and as this fan trailer shows, it was much darker.



As for Oz in Epcot, no, stop, bad. Use it to expand Fantasyland some more or something.
