Dumbo is testing, but the Christmas Day Parade said Fall 2012 to start rolling out opening.

Looks like a lot of work to go before it becomes guest ready.

If does look like there is a lot left, but the walkway being done and the costumes arriving at wardrobe already indicates late February could actually happen.

I hate to get off topic but despite the informative aerial photos I just never realized until now how darn close the dumbo queue is to that one curve of the speedway. Does anyone have any ideas about how they're going to tone down the noise and keep the people in the queue from suffocating in fumes?

Ear plugs and gas masks will be handed out at the entrance to the queue. :D

Yes, it is close, they even shortened the curve on the track to accomodate Dumbo. The Dumbo queue building walls are concrete so this should go a long way to blocking out the speedway noise. Not to mention hundreds of Dumbo age kids in an enclosed space, you won't be able to hear anything over that!
