Sad to see a store leave the park even more so one that offered something very unique.
A look inside the detailed store. Im sure it will all remain intact for what ever replaces it.

..Last Tuesday, the owners of Dianne's Estate Jewelry notified their employees that the Jewel of Orleans shop, which opened in Disneyland in 1997, is permanently closing its doors on Thursday, April 15. A public announcement was not planned until this week, but the company issued a confirmation after news of the closure was leaked to some Disney-oriented discussion boards. The company will continue to operate its two Northern California stores in Healdsburg and San Francisco (link), and plans to hold another Southern California trunk show shortly after the Disneyland location closes this spring. The news has prompted some customers to ask what will become of the items they had placed on layaway. If you hold an open layaway item, contact the store to discuss your options, at (714) 956-3294, or by e-mail to jewel@diannesestatejewelry.com. The cast members at the store asked us to remind our readers that the San Francisco store is conveniently located near the Walt Disney Family Museum. Since Dianne's only notified Disney of their decision to close the store last week, there is no word on what will go into the tiny space.
