In the Contemporary Convention Center, all the contestants of The Imaginarium assemble for a speech to be given by the Imaginarium's creator, kermitdefrog.
Hello, everyone. Welcome to Kermit Amphibia's Imaginarium. In this journey through the mind, we will cover all walks of Disney life, ranging from rides and lands to shows and restaurants. Ever since 1955, people have been dreaming of new ways to improve the Disney parks. Those dreams continue today through site like WDWMagic, MiceChat, and Visions Fantastic. This contest is an extension of those dreams, brining to life whole new concepts for the world to enjoy. Today, I ask you to join me on this journey that will forever be remembered for its new and exciting ideas. Thank you.

My Idea:

Silly Symphony Parade (Working Title)

This is my parade, it will take place at DHS and DCA. At DHS, the parade will run from the entrance to a new float storage facility in between RnRC and ToT. I am not so familiar with DCA but will run through the Hollywood area. This will be a night time parade, at 9 pm and 11 pm. All floats up to Flowers and Trees are in black and white.

The first float, I am not including in our count. It will just be Mickey on a TALL directors seat turning an old-fashioned camera back and forth, saying things like "Quiet on the Set!" or "Rolling!" while Minnie follows with a clap board saying "Take One!" etc.

1st Set:
Two floats depicting "The Skeleton Dance" with skeletons dancing in between the two. On the floats, think graveyard scene in HM with skeletons popping out and scaring the crowd. Blacklights line the side of floats hidden inside or by stones, etc. Music featured: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h03QBNVwX8Q at 2:40.

2nd Set:
Two more floats. This time with "Monkey Melodies" with the monkeys jumping on trampolines like at Festival of Lion King. Trampoline looks like snake in cartoon and the huge gorilla is the walk around between floats, periodically stopping for his "Ha-Ho-Ha" laugh. Music featured: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86l3Zr0huUM (whole thing)

3rd and 4th Set:
This time, Mother Goose Melodies, using FOUR floats. The pigs with trumpets and signs in the beginning are featured and then a float with King Cole on his throne with his book of Mother Goose. The blind mice follow as walk-arounds. Then another float with Mother Goose and her goose dancing with the same music as the video. Next a split float, Little Miss Muffet looking scared as the spider jumps on a bungee cord on one side and Jack and Jill on the other. One more split float to round it out. Little Bo Peep's sheep are walking in front. Then comes Humpty Dumpty teetering on the wall and after the wall comes Bo Peep looking back and forth with worry. All the music is the same as here and corresponds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOPae0LEOnM

5th Set:
Next, Flowers and Trees!!! This is the first float in color, since it was also the first color cartoon! Shows the usual Disney magic, with, obviously, flowers and trees coming alive to dance. Music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTuIb7BIFqk

6th Set:
Next King Neptune! These floats are VERY complex. The first is a bit of a "two story." The bottom is a clear looking "tank" where you can see King Neptune on his throne laughing and playing, while on top, the mermaids are being harrased by the drunken pirates. The next float is HUUUUGE, I mean BIG. It depicts Neptune with the pirate ship on the tip of his trident as he laughs and the pirates are hanging over the edge. Music for first float at 0:22 and second at 5:30 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNOt9LEX3ho

7th Set:
This set is a combo of The Three Little Pigs and The Wise Little Hen. The first float is the pigs in the brick house singing, "Whose Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf" while the wolf pops out (cutout form) facing both sides of the crowd regularly. The next float shows the chicks working hard as Pete the Pig and Donald Duck both look on, everytime the Hen looks up, they begin to have "stomach pains."

8th Set:
This features my personal favorite, Music Land. The two floats are both islands. The first is the Land of Symphony, then the Isle of Jazz. But in the middle we see the Bridge of harmony over the Sea of Discord made from moving lights, like MSEP. The viola and alto sax are both in the direct middle, turning to face both sides while waving and "talking." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBKmkbRLXGM

Another that doesn't count towards the 8 sets, Donald and Goofy running around on their float saying things like "That's a WRAP!" or "See ya soon!"

Hope you liked it! :D

Apparently, you are the only one who posted a project. So, I guess I have to crown you as the winner of Round 1. :sohappy:
