When they check your ID when you are just visiting the resort, what the heck are they looking at? They don't write anything down, just look at it. Seems to be some kind of deterrent check or something. Anyone know?
They are probably looking at the dates printed on the ID to make sure that the person is a current guest at any resort.
Living locally I usually go without a KTTW card, it just seems to be a weird system they have. I'm sure it's effective or they wouldn't be doing it.Probably to check your name matches your KTTW? Or that you look somewhat like your driver's license photo?

We've visited other resorts and asked if we could look around/eat, and they've always said yes. I don't think they've every checked our ID, not even a KTTW card from our resort.
