The Flu :(

Today is day two of the flu. Still sporting a fever over 100 and generally feeling yucky. Cool and rainy here today. Sitting around and following the events in Boston isn't helping me feel any better. My heart and prayers go out to those affected. Thank you to those posting pixie dust laden thiughts and memories and picking me up a bit.

I don't know of a red headed wench is FDA approved or not but the placebo effect alone should get me feeling better soon. Thank you for the well wishes.

Ugh. That was me a few Saturdays ago. Down with 103 degree fever and my throat hurt so badly it felt like broken glass. That and I felt like a truck had hit me. Feel better!

I'm feeling well enough to be back at work. Fever free, just a bit worn out yet. Of course I'm not as young as I used to be, so that goes with the territory! Countdown is at 43 days and the wife is thinking maybe she can get away a day earlier so that would be 12 days for the trip and one day closer to the magic!
