The Five Elements

Ok...I was sitting down sketching a bit today and had a pretty lame idea for a ride..but im going to share it anyway...

Stop me if it begins to sound like an episode of captain planet or the 5th element...

So basically I was thinking of an omni mover type of ride that showcases how the 5 elements have helped us progress in life..fire, water, air, earth, and life.

I figure it could be a good "retro" type of ride similar to the likes of Spaceship earth..it could really have some cool fire and water effects..and would be a nice change from all the thrill ride ideas we have been having...

Thoughts?

Dan, are you a member of SOJI? There are lots of ideas floating around right now about an attraction that is similar to your idea....not exactly the same but you're on the same track. Go check it oout.

As a chemist, I must object to the term "elements" as none of these are elements (at least according to a chemist). These are compounds, mixtures and forms of energy. I'm not trying to be snotty (well maybe a little), I'm just giving Now a hard time.

As for the idea, why not expand it to include all 114 elements ranging from hydrogen to Element-116 (it doesn't have a name yet). Everybody loves a good chemical explosion you know. Perhaps a physical sciences pavillion at Epcot? Then again, maybe that would be too much like school for a vacation.
