Monday 20th . Travel day.
We had a midday flight again from our little island direct into Charles de Gaulle . It was quite cloudy and a little lumpy on the way over but not too bad and we had a much better landing this time . Passport control and security was very quick and we managed not to get any of the chaos that others had described entering France. Once we had negotiated our way to the shuttle busses (managed to get lost in a different direction than last time) we had a short wait for the next transfer.
We later found out that the return flight was cancelled due to a technical fault  so we had been lucky to escape any travel disruption.
Once on board a half full bus it was a much quicker transfer than last time as we only had one drop (at Valle de Europe) before our hotel,
Check in was an absolute breeze and our room was ready for us. We were Golden Forest club this time to see what it was like .
We dropped our stuff off in the room and headed straight out to ... Starbucks.
After becoming suitably caffeinated we met up with a lovely young lady and her daughter for a quick chat as we were arriving not long before they were departing. It was nice to see you and hopefully next time might be able to spend a bit more time together,
We then proceeded over to the Disney Adventure Studio World park (whatever you wish to call it).
First up.
Cars Quatre Roues Rallye. This has become a tradition to start the trip. It is cheesy yet hilarious.
Next up was Web slingers. I may not have won this round but there will be more attempts to beat Mrs Ferret on this ride.
This was followed by a spin on Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin. Another fun little ride .
It was time then for food so we thought we would try the Hollywood Gardens Restaurant.
I had a superstar burger and Mrs F had the say Cheeeese burger. We also got a Mischievous cheesecake and a cookie Mickey to share. Both burgers were excellent and we would recommend this to anyone. The cheesecake (blueberry flavour) was nice but not amazing enough to get again, The cookie has come home with us and I will update when we have it.
We headed back to the hotel through the Disney village shops to pick up some items we knew we wanted so they didn't disappear before we could purchase them.

Tuesday 21st. Disneyland Park.
We knew this trip would be lighter on rides than our previous one as the crowd levels were a lot higher so we headed to the parks with a whatever will be attitude and no distinct plans for the day except a preferred viewing area for the morning parade.
Once in the park we headed over to the Chip and Dale meet and greet as these were the only characters we had to meet. It was a great interaction and they were both extremely enamoured of Mrs Ferret's new tattoo.
Once we were finished we headed over to the ride were unable to do in April for our first spin of the trip. Big Thunder mountain. This is just as good as we remembered it to be. Easily better than WDW's runaway mine train. Then on exit I had a moment of panic as I realised my phone wasn't in my pocket  .
Thankfully the cast member took us back in the queue and they had just got my phone out of the ride vehicle and I was reunited with it.
We then headed over to the viewing area to watch the first parade of the day. This was the same one we had seen last trip as they run this one in the morning and then the halloween parade twice in the afternoon. It was just as much fun as last time and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a different first float than in April and I'm not sure why they had changed it . It was fun to see the main characters in different outfits from last time and the princesses were in their winter outfits.
We grabbed lunch from Caseys and went to sit at our favourite seats just inside Frontierland to eat (and watch people try and avoid the weather) . We went with a hot chocolate each to drink as the temperatures were definitely cooler this trip.
Whilst in the area and with not a huge wait time (and the drizzle had stopped) we headed to Phantom Manor for our first ride of the trip.
We headed to Main Street just outside Main Street Motors to wait for the first of the halloween parades. This parade was slightly different to the later one (presumably due to wet weather) it ran straight through the park with no stops.
We headed through tomorrow land after the parade had finished to catch a flight on StarTours. We had the pod race scene Corruscant and another scene which we can't remember right now. Neither of us was outed as the rebel spy . My secret is still safe :cautious:
We then watched the return route of the parade from a little ways back to avoid crowds. We managed to get a spot that enabled us to watch the central hub performance and the parade passing through.
We exited the park afterwards and grabbed a Starbucks and donut to have back at the hotel. We ended up out on the deck relaxing in chairs watching the world going by and a large Murmeration of birds over the top of the balloon .
We headed back to the park a little later to see what we could get up to . That's where things got interesting.
