I thought this was just for Disney movies but I see a lot of non Disney threads so maybe this is allowed. If not, obviously feel free to delete or move, but........who saw this and who cried like a baby?

I feel like it was totally manipulative and was designed to make you not just mist up or drop a tear or two, but to make you sob. But damn if it didn't work.....on me at least.

I knew what I was getting into and I figured because of that, I wouldn't cry, but this thing is brutal.

Anyone get through this with dry eyes?

People at my theater bring in boxes of tissues with them and then the theater I littered with them afterwards...everyone comes out looking like they just went to hell and back when the movie is over! No thank u...why would u want to subjec yourself to that...

Not that this does not do its job and squeeze a gallon of tears out of you but I think it is more effective when you go in not knowing it is going to be a tearjerker.

An example that comes to mind is Terms of Endearment. When that first came out, it was marketed as a comedy starring Shirley MacClaine and Debra Winger. People didn't know what was coming in act two and to me, that makes it more devastating.

The fact that the marketing for Fault is basically screaming that you are going to weep hysterically makes it a bit odd for me.

But then again, there was not a dry eye in the theatre, including mine.
