I just avoid all the slim stuff, that ship sailed about 20 years ago for me. I think that’s part of the reason I like them so much, even the dress slacks have a little stretch to them, that extra stretch comes in handy with a dad bod.

I’ll have to give them another shot. Dressy n stretchy sounds great for this Dad bod. Maybe I didn’t try on the right ones. It was packed and I just wanted to get the hell out of there.

Im curious about the layout. Its been so long but I feel like those door used to lead to the lobby which had the staircase to go upstairs. Im curious how people will no access the upstairs tenants when they eventually open too

Looking at all those shiny black and charcoal colored pants, I feel like Lululemon is the Tesla of clothes. And for that reason I might be out.

Never once have I been in Downtown Disney and decided I need new Yoga pants.
For a moment I thought it was a Labubu store.
It is an odd choice, to me a store like this makes a lot of sense in a place like WDW with a lot of out of country visitors who may not have easy access to the stores, DL makes much less since it’s mostly locals and there’s Lulu stores scattered all over CA, NV, UT, AZ, etc.

Something like Sunglass hut, Sephora, etc make more sense from a “forgot to bring” perspective, I don’t see many people dropping $100+ on a pair of pants while on vacation, especially since they’re often custom tailored and take a few days to actually get them. Seems like an odd choice but they must feel it’s worth the (I’m guessing) extremely high rent.

Your Italian Grandmother would be rolling in her grave seeing you in tight Lululemon yoga pants that leave nothing to the imagination.

I’ve never had Porto’s and I’ll be happy to try it but I loved being able to get a caprese from the earl so close to the park gates.

The counter service in DL has really gone downhill for my tastes and with a magic key discount the earl is a great value if you just grab a sandwich.

But there is always the monorail way to the new earl!
Mine as usual is a minority opinion but I've never liked a single thing I've tried from there ever. Something about the flavor and texture of everything from savory to dessert is just... yuck.

I say that as someone whose been at multiple workplaces that have ordered their food repeatedly over the years and even for "free" I didn't like any of it.

That said, I'm the only person I've ever met who can't stand their food, so... :D

By comparison, I love Earl. Take from that what you will.

There'll probably be several people who appreciate the fact that you're not in front of them in the line to get in.

Yeah a lot of people cater from Porto’s and one of my pet peeves is party hosts not planning to serve warm food or picking the wrong food that won’t hold up when sitting out for a while. I plan the food I’m going to serve at my kids birthday parties for example around either what can be served hot or what can sit out for a while still holding up. A lot of those Portos finger foods or sandwiches are trash at room temp or when they re cold.

Have you ever had any of their stuff hot and fresh? The cubano sandwiches, the ropa vieja / pork plates and the cilantro chicken Caesar salad are all pretty good. The breakfast croissant sandwiches too. Not to mention the killer fresh OJ or coffees. Portos is like In N Out. It can easily not meet expectations for people who have been hearing people over hype the place for years. Like In N Out, it’s not just about the food. It’s also the value, efficiency, consistency, customer service and how it has become part of the So Cal culture.

It's always been catered for parties, lunches, etc. So warm, but not "right out of the oven" fresh. That said, I just haven't liked anything I've tasted from there from potato balls to empanadas to desserts. I've tried a lot of different things and haven't like a single one. Just a flavor and texture thing - I don't hate them, I just don't like them for "free" at work, so definitely wouldn't pay to eat there.

I don’t like the empanadas either. I leave that to the Argentinians and Colombians. Potato balls are ok.
