The Dolphin to Chef Mickey's to MK - Help!

Ok we are staying at the Swan & Dolphin. We have a reservation to Chef Mickey's at the Contemp at 8:40am with my husband, son, mil and fil. After we are done there my husband, son and I will be going to MK while mil & fil will be heading back to the hote.. We will have our own vehicle and we also have use of the Disney transportation. We will have a stroller with us. What should the game plan be? What would be the easiest way to get to one place to the other?

Drive car to Contemporary (eat) when done get on boat or monorail and go to Magic Kingdom Let others drive back to Swan Dolphin.When you are done at Magic Kingdom Take the bus back to Swan Dolphin Very simple! Never been to WDW before?
