What? You can't stand the 8 hours a day Spongebob is on? Spongebob reached the "this isn't funny" stage around 2005 when their best writers (C.H. Greenblatt and co.) were let go. Now many of the episodes are downright gross or disturbing. Such as the much advertised episode where Spongebob gets fired from his job. With the state of the economy these days, who thought being fired from a job would be funny?


They had some success over the years with the spinoffs of DreamWorks movies (which Cartoon Network now has the rights to any spinoffs released after Dragons) and the rebirth of the TMNT franchise. The current new shows such as Sanjay and Craig and Breadwinners (the brief episode I saw they were twerking on each other) are just plan horrid.
