Call me stupid but I don't really know what an E-Ticket is or what makes a Disney ride considered one. Is it a thrill ride? Or a very expensive ride?? And what are the other things like D-Tickets (I heard that somewhere)? Are they small additions like Aladdin? Someone please help me!

Back in the day, Walt Disney World guests could ride their favorite Magic Kingdom attractions by purchasing little tickets: A, B, C, D, and E. A tickets were usually the lesser attractions, such as the Carousel. The E-Ticket attractions were the "signature" attractions, such as the Country Bear Jamboree.

Times have changed and now there is no hassle with the tickets. However, the total price has bumped to 52 dollars per ticket!

"E-Ticket" is now a term for the classic Disney attractions that speak the "Disney name." These include the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Dumbo, the Flying Elephant.

Sometimes the term just refers to the most popular attractions - such is the case with the E-Ride nights at Disney, where the Magic Kingdom stays open late, continuing operation on the popular attractions:

Space Mountain
Splash Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Buzz Lightyear
Haunted Mansion
Astro Orbiter
Tomorrowland Transit Authority
Country Bear Jamboree
