Is this new version coming out on Oct. 31st going to have all the same info, pics, etc...as the 2008 edition? I already have the 2008. Would I benefit or enjoy getting the 2009 when it comes out or will it be exactly the same?

I loved The Complete Walt Disney World 2008!

I'm not sure if there will be major changes in the 3rd edition or not.

The problem with the Birnbaum guide is that it went to print before a lot of things, like Pleasure Island closing, were announced.

Thanks for your nice words about my book! The 2009 edition has about 200 brand-new photos, and new articles on What's New, Saving Time and Saving Money. The theme park chapters now have At-A-Glance summaries, lists of character locations and hour-by-hour wait times for attractions. We've moved the Hidden Mickeys from a list in the back to where they are located (for example, the six Hidden Mickeys in PhilharMagic are listed with the attraction). The book is completely up to date, including not only the Pleasure Island closing but the new come-free-on-your-birthday promotion, the American Idol Experience, the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure, the meet-and-greet Tinker Bell, T-Rex at Downtown Disney, even that the towels at the water parks now cost $2 to rent.

I hope you enjoy it! And please send your feedback through these posts; we are reading them and paying attention :)

FTR, anyone who hasn't seen a Complete Guide To WDW, if you like Disney Guide Books or just books in general on WDW, GET THIS ONE!!!!

Far and away, best guide book on the market today. Nope, not the author, just a huge fan who is so grateful for the wonderful job they;ve done in doing a Disney guide book right!!!

Julie, you also have some photography tips, on amazon I think.
Could you possibly incude some of those in the WDW book?
Many people have questions about taking photographs at WDW.
Tks.

I can't track it down either. I hate ordering from Amazon. With shipping, you end up paying $30 for a book.
