The Chase

The Chase aired on ABC last night. I felt the first show was O.K., nothing thrilling, but it was the first timed aired and I plan on viewing more shows before I really pass judgement. Ive watched The Chase before when it featured Mark Labbett, "The Beast", and IMHO he made it more enjoyable as the chaser than Ken Jennings. If you watched, were you impressed enough to tune in again? Secondly, weve seen Disney bring several of their game shows to DHS and get park guests to participate. Do you anticipate this show to appear at WDW as others have if it gains popularity and makes it through the ratings cut? I have to say I did enjoy sitting in on the ones that were featured in the park in the past until they lost popularity and had to go.

The Chase is huge in the UK where it started but i think it's really about Bradley Walsh the host and how be bounces off the Chasers. Like X-Factor, it will probably fizzle out in the US

We will see. Game shows with huge money opportunities, heavy competition and risk catch on. As I said, The Beast was what drew me in and I think it all hinges on how Jennings, Holzhauer and Rutter can hook viewers to return. I would have preferred Holzhauer on his own. Again... if rating hold, could you see it making an appearance as a guest competition in WDW?
