The Castle

Since the venue is undergoing a major refurb I decided to do a 'what if' and break out some Armchair Imagineering.

What if the restaurant was to be removed and a next-gen interactive m&g installed. I think the idea is employed at TDL and I think it would be very successful in the MK. Certainly guest demand seems to indicate people just can't get enough of the new style m&gs.

But why stop there? Considering the size of the restaurant it should not be too difficult to imagineer a Gringotts hydrolater-esque, I mean elevator-esque ride that descends far below the castle to encounter whatever may be down there. A passage could connect the castle to Philharmagic building (after it is relocated of course) where either a walk through or other style attraction could be added. Dragons would work as a theme. The living fire-breathing type!

The passage could be enclosed in an above ground arch even though people would think they are at a great depth below ground as it works in DA. Could be the E-ticket the MK needs.

Maleficent in dragon form?!! :) I'd love it!

I had hoped Beast Castle was going to be a ride. Never understood why a ride wasn't in one of their castles…

You know, I just realized this, and It's a little odd…

The Exterior for Journey of the Little Mermaid is Price Eric's Castle, but you never go inside any of the castle from any of the scenes from the movie, in the attraction.

From a Castle Point of view though, I'd really like at least an Expansion on BatB Maybe a "Tour Around the Castle" Type thing. Have Guests Explore it… There's just so much you can do with that Castle…

Now, if your talking attractions for Cinderella's Royal Table… Something like this in Cinderella form would be neat.

Beast Castle would be neat to explore - it was neat to watch Belle explore in the movie. I always thought a "funhouse" type of experience in a castle (secret passages, gravity rooms, slides/chutes, would be a neat way to explore a fairytale castle.
