Yup, same family evey year, not sure if my buddy is the dad or the mom but it sure hangs around like the family dog lol, some years theres the 2 and then some youngsters but this year I guess it's jut them 2. But there a verry nice non intrusive couple lol.The interesting things about Sand Hill Cranes is that they are one of the few bird species that "pair bond". Meaning that they take a single mate for life. That is why you often seen them in pairs or pairs w/kids.
YIKES!They have taken over our county, which is about 45 minutes from WDW. If you hit them with your car you can be fined. We've had issues with them at my house pecking the screens.
