My three year old will be taking part for the first time in November. We are buying her the package for her birthday for the whole shebang-dress, hair, photoshoot..etc.

I am looking for something else to give her since it is difficult to give a three year old a photo for an event that is 2 months away. All I can think of is silly stuff like princess playdoh or duplo. She already has the little people castle and accessories. Any ideas for things that would be useful on our trip in November or other Disney related gifts would be greatly appreciated. What to get the tiny Disney lover who has almost everything Disney???

Thanks in Advance!!

Might be worth getting her the dress in advance. You could give her that on her birthday and it would be cheaper than buying it at BBB. Or some accessories? Necklace, bracelet, sticker/clip-on/real earrings?

If she does a lot of dress up, the park authentic costume she'll get at WDW will be a good investment. We have a number of them and there is a significant difference between the park gowns and even Disney Store gowns. Mind you, you can sometimes find them new on ebay for cheaper....but there is something about a first trip to BBB where the child gets to pick out everything. Speaking of which, they get so much included in that package that it's hard to even justify buying extra accessories.

If you don't think it would take away from the BBB experience, maybe you could take her to a local kiddie salon as a treat so she can get a taste of the level of "princessification" she'll get once at WDW. We have a chain here called Sweet & Sassy that does things like that. You could also shop for "day 2" things. The hair style often lasts 2 days, so we like to bring along day 2 provisions...like extra glitter and princess outfits (like a pettiskirt and custom shirt)- so that could be a fun treat. Or if she knows what princess she plans to be, maybe some kind of matching doll. I know some girls with American Girl Dolls will get a matching outfit for their doll to go with their BBB makeover as a treat. One last idea...princess pajamas for the night before- themed after whatever princess she's going to be.

Thanks so much. Since it is her first time, we are going to let her choose everything herself. I tried to get a gauge of who she would choose but she changes her mind on the hour. I really like the idea of "2nd day wear"!! Maybe I will look into a tutu and such.

I will let my daughter go all out as well, when the time comes. Its a perfect treat in November, we always go during the summer months and that day she wont be able to swim. We are all waterbugs. But i think the matching doll is a great idea!

I highly recommend the princess dresses at BabiesRUs/ToysRUs that are out for Halloween right now. They are awesome quality and much cheaper than WDW or DisneyStore.com.

Also, in terms of a gift for her birthday related to your trip, how about an autograph book? It doesn't have to be a Disney one. Maybe she can make one herself with stickers and stuff? Just a thought.

The animator collection dolls are super cute too!
