The Best Story I've Read

EVERYONE that comments on these boards and threads about how the "magic" is gone from Disney should read this article...while I don't know when the event actually occurred, I firmly believe it could have taken place last decade, year or yesterday. The Disney magic is STILL alive...people just sometimes have to look a little harder for it. Yeah, sometimes my favorite attractions are closed while I'm there, yeah, sometimes guests are totally out of control and YES sometimes WDW doesn't look like an A+, maybe a B....it's stories like this that will keep me and my family coming back.

It was over 2 decades ago. The reddit OP mentions he transferred to entertainment (OP calls it characters) in 1996.

Like I always say. The real magic is in the Cast Members. They make this stuff happen. That is why I enjoy going back. I enjoy the other stuff like shows and attractions. But it is the Cast Members that have the real magic. That is why it frustrates me when I see people mistreating them countless times.

I don't know if this story happened but I know the accident mentioned happened, I remember my cousin telling me about the wreck where the women was decapitated and the husband died and i remember they had kids so I'm believing the story.
