The Bernie Barges

Hello all...I was looking at the original illuminations information on the main site, and saw images of what they called The Bernie Barges. They were used for Illuminations 25. I have never in my life heard of them. Does anyone know what exactly they did or how they contributed to the show?

That's exactly right Corrus. These barges were named after him...I believe he even created them.

They were additional barges required for the 25 show. They carried pyro, and were parked just off the maxi barges.

Thanks Steve. I asked because they looked so much different than any of the other smaller barges with those three towers on them. They must have elevated the pyro on the barges.
