The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm: A Goofy Ride?

I'm a Goofy fan. Always have been. I was never so thrilled as when he finally starred in his own movie, A Goofy Movie, with his "boy Maxy." Now don't get me wrong, I've rode the Barnstormer like many other adults who visit WDW, and I think it's a great roller coaster for the younger set. However, when I look at it I don't really think "Goofy." I think it would have been better suited to be themed toward a DuckTales/Launchpad McQuack attraction. Something like Launchpad's Flying School.

This being said, I'd like to introduce "A Goofy Ride." Think Roger Rabbit's CAR-Toon Spin, from Disneyland, with A Goofy Movie's story line, or something to that effect. I haven't ironed out the details, but I think a spin ride would be more suited to Goofy's style. What do you think?

I've never quite understood myself why the fab four don't get more attraction recognition? Maybe Philharmagic is going to help correct this problem. Other than Character Greets and parades, the Main Friends are rarely glorified in any way. I still hope to see a House of Mouse Restaurant at MGM someday. The presence of Goofy at Barnstormer is subtle as well and could easily change to Launchpad with little effort, therefore not necessarily a true Glorification ride. Isn't it Gadget's go-coaster at DL?

Ya, I think "A Goofy Ride", would work as an attraction, to make it more effective there would probably have to be alot of efects of your car crashing into things though, as Goofy was always very clumsy.

oh oh... and have that narrator guy talking about the proper way to drive a car. There could be speakers in your ride vehicles. That could be neat.:D

Yes, this is a good idea! Many people I think have wanted to see Roger Rabbits Cartoon Spin come to MK's Toontown, but because of all those legal battles between Speilberg and Disney, it probably wont happen. So what character could take Roger's Place? What Disney character seems to have the same wacky personality that Roger had? I'd say Goofy is the best replacement.

Mabey it should be about Goofy giving a tour of Toontown? You would go thorough a bunch of wacky scenes, a bunch of cartoon characters and scenery all around you. With the Cartoon Spin-style cars, you can spin your cars around to see everythign around you, or else just do it to get really dizzy. No real plot, just have your car go thorugh a bunch of scenes.

How about this. Goofy starts the ride out at "Goofy's Toontown Tours", located next to his house (wich isn't at MK yet). You go into "goof-mobiles", mabey old jalopy type cars. You leave Toontown's countryside and enter "downtown Toontown", running through stoplights, nearly missing other cars going by, smashing through a wall into a building. You enter a warehouse that makes cartoony type things, liek anvils, bombs, etc. You eventually drive into a bunch of carts of explosives, going through a Mr.Toad-type explosion scene.

Throughout the ride you pass by animatronic characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and any other Dinsey characters. Of course, all the different "things" like stoplights, garbage cans, and cars that you see are all "alive", with eyes and mouths, in Tex Avery fashion.
