I never really was a fan much of the 'heavy guest interaction' attractions. (And I don't mean that time my auntie Big Nellie joined my seat for a ride on Thunder Mountain!)
Random guests as a rule are not that funny or talented or interesting, and trying too hard.
Typical of the 1989-2009 era, especially movie parks, with offshoots into other attractions infected with the then modern idea that visitors want attractions to be personal and about them, yielding rubbish such as Journey into YOUR Imagination or Enchanted Tales with Cancun Conchita.
