The Alcoholic Dole Whip!

Wakey,Wakey, Girls. It's your favourite gramps. Now Ive just posted a thread on Epcots garden & flower week in March. And it came to my attention that there doing the classic Dole Whip laced with spiced rum.Thats got to be a winner.But as I smacked my lips thinking about this creation ( you think I've got a drink problem ) what alcohol would you put into the good ole Dole.? Now think carefully here before making your decision. Since the Dole is pineapple based ( most times ) I would opt for a big measure of Cointreau as the fusion of orange and pineapple is the perfect marriage made in heaven.( Do you Cointreau take this Pineapple to slurp & finish till death do us part ) So come on and give me your ideas on your perfect alcoholic Dole Whip. My vote would be for three olives cherry vodka. I think pineapples and cherries would be my perfect fusion!

Wow! That vodka sounds awesome,never heard of it over here.also the amaretto sounds good.Almonds & Pineapple yummy.Hey this may start a trend at Disney. A Dole Whip bar for adults.

Well now that the door has been opened for alcohol at B.O.G. I'am sure a small bar with a view over looking the castle would be a perfect spot.And CM'S dressed as a Prince & Princess serving the Dole delights.Yummy.

I am super excited about the whole Epcot
Food and drink kiosks!!! Good thing there are buses taking us back to the resorts! You know I'm gonna have to sample every drink :/

OK...while coconut rum is a nice choice...I've found tequila is actually a nice alternative to anything in the rum family. I tend to steer away from silvers if I'm throwing in tequila for something like this. When I've done things like this at home...I've also experimented by throwing in splashes of Godiva White Choc. Liqueur, Frangelico, and Amaretto. I've thought about Midori and Curacao, but I haven't had either around to experiment. I have also swapped out the rum or tequilla with a bit of single malt scotch (whatever DH has around...most recently The Macallan- he called my experiment a crime against all liquor ) and Jameson, but neither really worked...although I still finished the whole thing

Edit...wait, there was a time when I did have some Curacao around...been a while, but it was tasty! Funny how the brain is going!
