Thanksgiving Q's

We are planning on going to WDW four four days during Thanksgiving, and this will be my first ever Thanksgiving WDW trip. I have no idea what to expect weather wise, crowd wise, park hour wise, etc...

What's the weather like in late November?

What are the crowds like during Thanksgiving?

Can you see Wishes at that time of year?

What "special" things are happening around the World during Thanksgiving?

Anyone... park hours off hand???

Thanks!

The weather is usually warm in the day time and cold in the evenings. Not sure of exact temps.

The parks are very crowded during Thanksgiving weekend, I have gone before and its a mad house. If you are prepared for it and can deal with the crowds, its not that bad. Just don't expect to see everything, due to the crowds.

As far as I know the fireworks shows run almost year round.

The special events during November and December are:
Magic Kingdom - Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party
Epcot - Christmas Around the world
MGM - Osborn Famliy Spectacle of lights
Downtown Disney - Festival of the Season

Normal operating hour during the whole month of November.

Hi Crazygirl.

I haven't seen you around in a while and just wanted to say hi, even if I have no advice on WDW during Thanksgiving (but I hear it is a great time to visit.)

Hope your trip goes well and you have a great time. Where are you staying? (AKL?)

For the most accurate park hours i'd recommend the official WDW website.
Crowds = busy, busy, busy. Have lot's of patience and you'll be o.k. Just don't expect to do everything in one day. But you're any experience'd WDW person so you know the drill.
Weather = Daytime - mid/upper 70's maybe low 80's if your lucky. Night = varies, i've had mid/upper 40's to mid 60's. Prepare for Florida weather during the day but be prepared for possible Northern Autumn weather at night. In other words, bring a jacket or sweatshirt.
Wishes = Absolutley.

Hope you enjoy your 1st Turkeyday trip. I'll be there also. Maybe i'll see ya there.
