Thanksgiving Dinner?

Will be dinning in the World this year and am wondering - Where would you go?
Where has the most authentic Thanksgiving meal? Should we go out of the box and do something new like Homecoming Florida Kitchen? a Buffet like Biergaten? or go fancy and pick a Signature like Flying Fish?
Any and all suggestions welcome!

One more question! Where will I be most likely to get an ADR for? We have about 20 days so availability will be limited!
Though I'm thinking I may be lucky with the restaurants at the Resorts!

Your best bet would be to see online which restaurants are still available for that day or to call. 407-WDW-DINE If you have 20 people in your party I don't think you will be able to book that online. Also with 20 people you options will be probably more limited. My husband and I have eaten at Whispering Canyon for Thankgiving before and we like that a lot, very traditional, and that is where we are going this year. Liberty Tree has turkey has part of their dinner and lunch every day, but it is considered one of "the" places to go for Thanksgiving and books up quick.

Sorry that was supposed to say 20 days not a party of 20 lol

I really like Liberty Tree but with it being Thanksgiving I'm betting the park not to mention the restaurant will be packed so I would rather a resort location. Whispering Canyon just doesn't appeal to me due to the antics the wait staff get into, I just find it obnoxious! but thank you for the suggestions

Your best bet then is to go on the website and see what is available at the times you want. Once you have some for sure options you could always come back for the advice of the wise WDW Magic people.

Well the options are so slim that we are changing our plans and going elsewhere for Thanksgiving day!
That being said we still will want to have a Thanksgivingesque meal so what would you suggest?

I can't help you if you are looking off property as I don't really go outside of Disney. But there is always the earl of sandwich and their holiday sandwhich with turkey, gravy, cranberry and stuffing. It's like all the leftovers in one sandwich. It's not sit down but it is a great sandwich!

On our visit to Liberty Tree Tavern we asked about Thanksgiving. They said all Thanksgiving Day ADRs are gone within 20 minutes of them becoming available at the 180 day marker.
