We had a great Thanksgiving dinner at Artist Point a few years ago. It was warm enough to eat outside overlooking the lake!

If you are planning for 2014, I would book something pronto. We were at WDW around this time in 2012 and Thanksgiving dinner options slimmed out quickly because of the higher crowds and so many people were looking for a sit down dinner for the holiday. That being said, most of the restaurants keep their normal menu- at least from what I recall. Places like LTT go quickly as it's more traditional, but I think anything is fair game- so book- and book soon!

we have been to WDW 4 of the past 5 Thanksgivings and we love it. We have had dinner at Garden Grill, Liberty Tree, Biergarten, and our favorite was Mickey's Backyard BBQ. After the backyard BBQ, Id pick Liberty Tree then Garden Grill. But, you better get your ADRs as soon as you can. As @HouCuseChickie said, your options will really slim down fast!

About eight years ago we booked the Castle for Thanksgiving dinner, they did NOT have turkey.......the chef prepared goose....are you kidding me...worst ever for children. Since then I've looked at the menu and it appears they have conformed to tradition.

Have just booked a trip to WDW for End Nov 2015 (planning early!) and realised we will be there for Thanksgiving. Do a lot a restaurants serve a special Thanksgiving dinner? Looking forward to my first Thanksgiving as not a holiday we have in the UK
