TGIF on ABC??

Why did ABC get rid of TGIF? I know there major show ended, Boy Meets World, but there were still some good shows.

I belive there bringing it back next fall, one of the shows will be about that guy who goes back in time on his birthday it looks pretty good. I was a big fan of TGIF.

TGIF kinda died when Family Matters and Step by Step went to one of the rival networks. Boy Meets World also started going down-hill in the second to last season. I didn't even bother seeing the final episode... which i kinda regret because that and Dinosaurs are two of my favorite shows of all time.

Step by Step and Family Matters went to rival network company CBS which seemed kind of stupid since Family Matters only had one more season left after leaving ABC. Boy Meets World decided to call it quits after eight or nine seasons. Sabrina the Teenage Witch made a cruddy decision of going to the WB after apparently asking for too much money per episode for the show. It made sense for Disney just to eliminate the TGIF thing and use regular programming.
