Roseanne was not part of the TGIF line-up, but there was a Disney episode. It was an awful episode, but thats besides the point.

Full House had a good story and every park was featured.

Boy Meets World was cool because it went behind the scenes of The Living Seas.

TGIF was a major event in my weekday life as a kid.

I remember when Corey went scuba diving at the Living Seas to try and get Topanga's attention!

Then he and Sean slept on Splash mountain and used the spalshdown as their morning shower!

Oh the fun of being a teenager back in the day.

The one good thing about the Family Matters episode is that they go to the Wilderness Resort. And Full House stays at Grand.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who remembers (and loves) those episodes! I love the Boy Meets World one especially because I never got to see the Living Seas in person.
And Full House! Steve as Indiana Jones was hilarious!

Step by Step and the quest to bring the title back to America (for riding every ride, buying a snack from every kiosk etc...) was awesome

Literally some of my favorite WDW memories of my life stem off from all those 90's sitcoms that featured its characters go on vacation in WDW.

I was only around 6-10 when all of those episodes premiered and I remembered wanting to go to WDW so badly after watching each and every one of those episodes; but it was way too far away for our family to visit.

So the only way I could experience WDW as a small child was from stories of all my friends who had visited, along with all the park footage each one of the shows featured in their episode.

I think the one that affected my childhood dream to visit WDW the most was the Full House episode. It premiered around a time when a lot of my friends were going to WDW on vacations, and the episode basically captured and brought to life all the things they told me that went on in WDW when they came back.

I also remember (and also an episode you forgot to mention) the Sabrina, the Teenage Witch episode showcasing Animal Kingdom when it first opened back in 1998.

They also had a 25th anniversary special that aired on ABC that featured pretty much all the TGIF stars on TGIF. I'll never forget how badly I wanted to go to WDW after watching that special...

I really hope Disney decides to market WDW like they did back then for the kids of today because they made a WDW fan for life out of me greatly thanks to those episodes.

Man you pretty much read my mind! I loved all of these as well.... My fave was Step by Step where Jt was "JT Disney" to impress the ladies! haha I be sure to search keyword "Disney" on my tivo every week or so and record all of these all the time!

The best part about these episodes is they were normally 2 parters!

The best one was definitely Step By Step because of the quest to bring the title back from the Russians.

I actually thought that Boy Meets World had the worst WDW episode. The Reason?.... because it was the only one of those that wasn't a 2 parter! All of those other TGIF shows had a full hour of WDW vaction, Boy Meets World just had one lame half hour.

aww i have all of these recorded on my dvr. and i actually like the roseanne one, but i guess that's because i actually liked the sitcom. I liked how in the beginning they were running down main street in slow motion to when you wish upon a star, then dan is looking for beer and they say oh thats in epcot, and he runs back down mainstreet to the end of the song.
but i love all of these, i wish sitcom's would still do that. But i don't think ABC has many sitcoms.
(also on a sidenote- George Lopez had one random episode in Disneyland. it wasn't that great though..)

It was done by the poor man's Micheal J. Fox.

I remember watching that episode and saying "why does this guy look like Marty McFly?"

Good old TGIF, leading right into One Saturday Morning. Bring back Miss Mungers class and Manny the Uncanny. The golden age of Disney TV programming.
