My Home Is Ruined
Well....... My day started with Sunshine and white clouds... And ended estimating the amount of structual and flood damage we would have to set insurrance on...
Wait let me tell you how this happened.. It has a story
Most of the day was nice.. Noone saw what was coming.. Unless you were a meteroligist.
6th Period I have Biology. Almost finished with my worksheet I hear thunder. Ofcourse the whole class is like " o00o0o0o."
Well we left 6th and headed to 7th. I have Tech Theater and we get to work in the Multi Million $ Auditorium.
By the time we got to the Auditorium we could hear the rain pounding the roof. We didnt think much of it since its a BRAND NEW school and is VERY " STATE-OF-THE-ART".
Soooo...
We are on stage and spot a couple roof leaks that never been seen before. So we put a little.. I mean Little.. TrashCan to take care of the problem..
We continued to work for about 5 minutes until We spot a bigger leak. We cover it with another " Bigger" Trashcan..
Then we could start to hear the rain REALLY START TO HIT!
Im like "Damn... Thats some loud rain." ' I look out into the Autitorium from the stage panning from the left to the right'
Then I saw it. The wall was leaking..
OK the auditorium is seated like a shell in a shell.. So we have cat walks above the shell that are not visible. And the cat walk leads to some light fixtures for the stage..
So I walk over the the wheelchair ramp on the other side of the wall to see water dripping from a light fixture..
" Mr. Wilmeth! We have a problem!"
We end of figuring out water was dripping.. Wait wrong word.. SPEWING from the roof... Oh no it gets better.
We take the Spiral Staircase up to the 1st Cat Walk and head to the light fixtures.. We could hear the water gushing from the roof..
It was dark and we needed a flashlight so we brougt one..
" Justin. turn on the light" I did.. and all we saw was the drainage pipe from the roof leaking about 3 gallons a minute onto the Auditorium shell below.. Pointing the light downward we see a pool of water on sheetrock.... Thats not gonna last... So we Ran.. I mean RAN down that black painted spiral staircase like there was a runaway.
So here we are running through the school looking for the janitor.. To our suprise we see Tons of Drainage pipes leaking..
My question.... Who hired this plumber and who is he? lol Who doesnt put sealant around pipe for this kind of stuff? Oi
We find janitors and a whole squad of electrictions and custodans " Attempted" To fix the leakage. The dumb guys were dumbfounded and didnt help but try to vacum up the water.
So here I am school is at a Lock Down " noone leaves" And cars are floating down the road lol. Tornados are stricking in Delmar.. And im in a Multi Mill Aud thats LEAKING!! Soon enough we got released " 1 Hour Later" And went home..
No theres more keep reading lol
Our garage got flooded and now we have lots of memerolbila ruined and lost because of this.. 1 Person died in Delmar.. We have no post office in corpus.. ' Wait half of one nevermind' And a Semi was thrown 89 Yrds from its position... I had a great day everyone... Great day.. All because of this..
