Teva Tirras?

Has anyone tried Teva Tirras in the parks? I have an incredibly comfortable pair of sneakers, but I’d like to buy a pair of good sandals as well for possibly the parks and non park days. Walking around in the store with them I felt like I was wearing nothing, very comfortable, just not sure how they will be if I’m in them all day.

I have a pair of original Teva’s that I wear to the parks and they are every bit as comfortable as sneakers, even for long days. The Teva’s are especially great during wet conditions (no walking around in soggy sneakers)!

Just don't forget the sunscreen for your feet...sunburn on the feet while trying to walk ESPECIALLY while on vacation will be a killer.

I think Tirras is the Teva version I wear to the parks. I love wearing them for wet days in the parks! Since they have the ankle wrap, I can't walk out of a wet shoe (I'm clumsy like that) and they are non skid so I don't have to worry about slipping. They are really comfortable and provide me with good arch support. But I would wear them for a few weeks before wearing them in the park. I didn't do that our first trip and one of the straps did give me a blister.

I have the Teva Hurricane, and I like the flat straps on that model. (I've been wearing Tevas for years in the summer months.) I think I tried the Tirra (maybe 2 years ago?) and whenever it was, I brought them back to the store. The strap style was not the one piece (such as the Hurricane) and it cut into my foot--even though I adjusted the straps. I went back to the Teva Hurricane model instead.

I tried those but my heel isn't fully developed and I couldn't tighten it enough to make it feel sturdy on my foot. I have a small foot (I can wear a size 4 in girls but I can make a size 5 or 6 work in womens depending on how the shoe is made) and the size 5 of the Hurricane was slightly too big.

I always wear my Teva Olowahu flip flops and have never had a problem. They are super comfy and stay on your feet. And they are great if your feet get wet. Athletic shoes got soaked during a rain storm and the Olowahus were my go-to until they dried out.
