In the last 10 years I've been to Disney World for 4 multi day stays:
#1 The Contemporary
#2 Port Orleans
#3 All Star Music
#4 Pop Century
*
Last year(Dec.26th) we stayed in Kissimmee for one night....did just the Magic K. for one day and the next day went to Port Canaveral to get on a Cruise.
Now we ( I have a wife and a teenage daughter) are noticing that Disney is gradually adding new attractions. We hope to have a four day stay in Nov. one year from now.
What are some "must sees" that are new now and/or will be new by Nov. 2017?

Nice to have you on the forums Steve.

The next big thing in WDW coming in 2017 will be The World of Avatar in Animal Kingdom. It will feature 2 new rides and a highly immersive environment. Also AK will have a few other nightly offering notably Rivers of Light.

DHS is still waiting for the completion of Toy Story Land and the Star War Land, both of which will not be open til probably 2018-2019.

Epcot has a new attraction in Norway that is based on Frozen that replaced Maelstrom.

There are lots of other things per rumor but nothing notable will be completed by your trip this time next year. A few plusses and additions and dining(Disney Springs will be complete) but also some closures.

Have a great time and keep up with all the new rumors on the "news and rumors thread"

BTW are you from Brick NJ?

Welcome... this is the place to be if you want to find out whats going on, get information or get help. Lots of great photos, reviews and trip reports that will get you wishing you were there or were booking your next trip yesterday. A great site to keep your Disney dreams of going back alive. It helps deal with the "I'm not there now doldrums".
Soarin takes you across the world to places like Africa, China, Australia, Switzerland, Egypt, India, France. Some stunning scenes. Still a major attraction that guests want to target, so lines are still long, but not all guests are enjoying the changes from the former attractions scenery. For the specific scenes of what you fly over..... you can get on Youtube and view complete ride throughs of this and any Disney attractions.
You can search for many guests reviews, good & bad, on this site.
Like many sites youll find posters who are helpful, others who like to vent, others you need a sense of humor to read and dont always read posts literally. Some come across that can easily be misinterpreted.

Ajkraz,
I was last in Disney last Dec. 2015
I know that prices have gone up....but we'll go off peak..Nov. 8 or so. That should help.
Besides the increased costs, what is the "everything" that has "gotten worse"?

@SteveBrickNJ we got back from a fantastic trip this summer and everything was great! Please don't get discouraged from some posts you'll end up seeing here.

It's exciting you'll get to see the new Avatar area next summer. I can't wait to get back and see it and any other new additions they will add. I loved the new Soarin, and new characters like Joy and Sadness. Have a great time planning!
