Test Track Old Post Show

In the old version of Test Track, there were these purple pod-like simulator things in the second room of the post show, in the space that talked about turning corn into fuel. Does anyone remember what that was called, or have any pictures of it. Just want to relive some old memories.

I don't remember the pods, but I do remember the way the big GM "showroom" area had huge turntables with curtains that would pull back and show off the cars, accompanied by lights and dramatic music. I remember one time the sound system struck up Fatboy Slim's "Right Here, Right Now" and did a big dramatic reveal... of some Saturn SUV. It made me chuckle.

Anyway, here's some video of the place. It was really noisy and garish but the robots and assembly line press illusion were fun to watch.
