Teppan Edo time frame

I've read some reviews that say Teppan Edo has taken some diners two and a half hours to complete their meals. I don't know if I've ever gotten out of a Japanese steakhouse in less than an hour so two and a half hours doesn't seem way out of line. Can anyone tell me how long their meals have taken here? I don't want to waste that much time in any restaurant when I could be in the parks.

When we dined there in September, our adr was for 7:40pm and we were seated at 8pm. I remember walking out of the restaurant just as the fireworks were starting so I would say it was an hour, no more. I actually timed that just right... watching Illuminations from the stairs at Japan was absolutely perfect!

6:00 ressie. seated @ 6:20 ( they were a bit disorganized for some reason). Finished @ 7:45 PM, but they had a "mix up" with the chef. All of the other tables around us were getting their" show" before us.:(

Been there five or six times and never took us two hours. A little over an hour. Ask for check early if you need to get sooner.

One thing about the Japanese: they are very polite and good with service. There, your water glass is never empty, they do things in a timely fashion, and they thank you for your patience. Meals there average about an hour once seated. They try to move you along as quickly as possible.

It also won't be like Benny Hanna's where they serve you about 5 courses. They serve you an appetizer if you order it, your main meal with rice, and a dessert if you order it. And it's better than any steakhouse I go to at home.:)

I'm going for the first time in October and I was wondering if you had to wait long to sit at the hibachi table? We are a party of 4. When I called reservations they said I can't request the hibachi table until I get there.
