r there any type of clubs to check out for a 14 yo at dd? or r most of the clubs strictly for adults?

it says if they r under 18 they must be accompanied by a parent/guardian? has anybody ever went into any of the clubs with their children?

Unfortunetly, there are no clubs that are non-alcoholic, and geared for the younger folk. But here's a sampling of what they've got:

BET Soundstage & Manniquinns Dance Palace are both strictly 21+

Comedy Warehouse is a improv comedy club. They do try to be very "Disneyesque" in that certain words, phrases, and concepts are not allowed, however, being that PI is more for the 18+ crowd, some topics do come up that might be inapropriate for younger folk. The place is hillarious (although I'm sad that my favorite performer recently left :( )

MOTIONS is a new club, mostly geared to the folks that can't get into Manniquinns. I've been there a few times, mostly on Thursdays when all the CP folk are there.

Rock & Roll Beach Club is probably a little bit more family than Motions... they've got live bands there, it's a bit more well lit...

Adventurers Club is styled in the 1937 era, and is a fun place for families with younger ones. They have shows that they do there, and a bit of comedy.

PI also has some live bands and outdoor shows that are on the West End stage that are pretty cool.

Keep in mind that while this is Disney, and PI does follow Disney's family guidelines... it's also an After Dark place, and as such does loosen up a bit... so parental discretion is advised. You know your kid better than anyone... so... up to you on how you want to do it.

The Jazz Club is very low key and seems to draw a .. quieter crowd but I was the only one of my friends who enjoyed it there.

The Comedy Club does try to tone down their shows much more during the early performances where I have seen children. (Which performer left?)

It is very adult geared though...
