I am going to Star Wars tonight, but I will likely record So Dear to My Heart. It is my understanding that that was one of Walt's absolute favorites of his own films. Until now I have only seen parts of it. I know that it has the same feel as some parts of Song of the South, and it features the wonderful Burl Ives in his iconic style as a balladeer on a front-porch rocker.

(You know Burl Ives as the voice of the banjo-carrying snowman telling the story of "Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer;" and in this movie he sings "Lavender Blue," a beautiful ballad for which he was nominated for an Oscar. In Rudolph, he sang "Holly Jolly Christmas," also a Christmas classic.)

See So Dear to My Heart if you have a chance.
