TAXI Questions

I dont know if this is the right place to post this but ill give it a shot. My sister in law, my niece, and her uncle are going down to disney on the 26th we need to know the best taxi service or advice on how to get to winn dixie so we can buy food for the week we are there . any thoughts or suggestions?

We always use checkers when we're there- very good value.

We have always also used Orlando Taxi Service.
Marty is a lovely man and doesn't rip you off, could always see what he quotes you. We always book him for airport transfers and trips to Universal etc x

Have you considered Garden Grocer? They will deliver your order directly to the resort. I think there is a $40.00 minimum purchase. You order and schedule the delivery online.

Figured I'd revive this thread rather than start another one.

I asked in another thread if there were taxi stands at the parks (Yes was the answer). Now I need to know - are there taxi stands at the resorts? Specifically I'm wondering If it would difficult to find one after Hoop De Doo, would there be taxis around at Wilderness Lodge Villas, or would you have to call one?

They are not going to come INTO the Camgrounds, but if you go to the front desk of ANY resort they will call a cab for you. The longest I have waited for a cab at a resort is about 15 minutes. That was at the Contemporary at some late hour of the night.
