We are thinking about going to IOA one of the days we're going to be at WDW and were wondering 1. If you think it's worth it and 2. Where would we find out about getting a taxi from WDW to IOA.
Hmm I *think* there is transportaion from All Stars to Universal on Mears for a cheaper rate than a taxi.
I have NOT had a good experience with the taxi's at WDW. Our driver had NO clue where we wanted to go. It was.... bad and is not something I would try again.
Do you (and whoever else is going) enjoy coasters? Two of the major draws of IOA are the Hulk coaster (which is a blast if you like coasters) and the Dueling Dragons (twin hanging coasters). Spider-Man is a very high tech ride, and IMHO, well done. There is Suessland for youngsters. Jurassic Park is good, although when we've been on it some smaller children were pretty scared with the attacking velociraptors (sp?). IOA is a park where you could take in everything pretty much by late afternoon, except on peak days.
Does IOA have the same magic as WDW? Of course, no.
Can IOA be fun? If you enjoy coasters and some of the other high tech rides mentioned, yes.
One bit of advice if you go: ride Spider-Man as soon as you get inside. Because it is so high-tech, it is prone to constant breakdowns. Good luck with your decision.
