Tax on Dining Plan?

When using the Dining Plan, I know that tips are not included, but how about tax? Is that included in the plan, or do I still pay tax and tip? Every time I think I have the "Should I get the Dining Plan or Not?" question figured out, I change my mind. Maybe I am overthinking this thing too much. :hammer:

Yep, taxes are included. You only need to pay tips out of pocket.

At almost $52.00 per person it is getting out of control. There is not one other single thing in Disney that has gone up as much as the dining plan in the past 5 years.
