Ok, I have a silly question, perhaps.
We'll be staying at BLT in a little over a week. Our friends are checking in before us and will need to pay for our DDP with theirs, as required.
We want to pay them in advance, this week, and were trying to figure out if they charge sales tax on the DDP purchase price. And if so, what rate?
It seems like they wouldn't, since it's essentially like buying a Gift Card - the sales tax is applied and collected when you make your actual purchases - in this case, the meals.
We've never bought a standalone DDP, so we're just trying to figure out what it will cost.
