Tarzan on Broadway

I believe Tarzan just opend up for previews on broadway....has anyone seen it yet? And if so what is your feedback???
We just ordered our tickets for June!

A friend of mine is assisting with lighting on the show-- she loves it, and she is hard to please -- Post what you thought after you see it. I am looking forward to seeing it in NYC sometime this summer.

I truly do want to see it, but it's impossible because there are a lot of things preventing me from getting to NY...mainly money. I've always wanted to go, and it looks like maybe next year at this point.

Anyway, I was geeking out over the fact Shuler Hensley was playing Kerchak. I am a huge fan of "Van Helsing" and I do know he had started as a theater actor. It would be quite amazing to see someone from one of my favorite movies perform live...since I'm still kicking myself over missing Will Kemp in "Swan Lake" way back when.

And for a bit of trivia, Hugh Jackman played Gaston in the Sydney production of "Beauty and the Beast" and Sam West (Dr. Frankenstein) provided the voice of Pongo in "101 Dalmatians 2".

Wow that's really awesome about your friend working for the show. I'm so glad she liked it. I haven't heard anything about it yet.

I can't wait to see it in June and I will definetly post my thoughts!

I believe previews actually start this Friday, 3/24.

We should see some early reviews by next weekend!

The show looks pretty good from the rehearsal pics I saw!
