Every time I start to talk to someone about our favorite things in WDW, I bring up how much I enjoyed the Tapestry of Nations parade at Epcot. Anyone who has seen it always has the same reaction, that they that it was just incredible.
My thought in regards to this is why not bring it back, only re-imagined. Use the same music and puppet ideas, but instead perform this in the Animal Kingdom. The music, the diversity, the fun, it all seems like something that would fit and flow beautifully in this park. The puppets are a great alternative to big floats that need to try and make their way down the narrow paths of the Animal Kingdom. To take this to the next level, they can use some of the same puppet ideas that are used in the broadway version of The Lion King.
The parade could be re-named something like Tapestry of Life to encompass all living things in the world, which I always thought was the message that the Animal Kingdom was trying to convey.
Any thoughts?
