Tapestry Music

Is there anyone out there that is well versed in BOTH 'Nations' and 'Dreams' that can answer a few questions about the music and parades?

- I've heard that some of the music from the original is still used. Which themes? Hopefully not everything is new. Do they still have the choral music that appears 3 x on the Millennium CD? You know what I'm talkin about.
-Do they still have the upbeat tempo section of the parade also?
-How about the whole disco/stobe light effect that happened from the Drum units and on the pavillions in the original, or is that gone as well.
-Did they also keep the kind of slow, mellow theme also in the original with various instruments from around the world playing the same theme?
-Does the order of the puppets change, are they grouped together, or spread out, or does it vary with each performance?
-I've heard the original is better, since they've axed the whole "World Togetherness" theme Tapestry of Nations had in favor of the new "Dreams" themed parade. (IMO now is the time when we need the original the most) In your opinion which is better?

I think the music is virtually the same. They have added some of Walt's quotes in a couple of places.

The puppets are all mixed up. It seems like they were picked by randomness. I didn't see a pattern in the new order.

The puppets have either bells, or some other type of small noise maker, that I do not like.

I really dislike what they did with the parade and love Tapestry of Nations.

I liked the Nations parade ten times better than the new Dreams parade. I thought that the Tapestry of Nations parade was very much a part of the whole World Showcase theme. The whole parade was actually very moving.

I remember when Tapestry of Nations started... the puppets where all mixed up... so, it was extremelly boring! It was watching the same segment over and over and over and over!! It was really boring (for me it was quite good since there was no problem doing audience control!!!)... after that they did some changes, shortened the music score and separated all the puppes of one kind in each segment... that was a really good improvement (and became my favorite parade!)... I'm afraid going to see Tapestry of Dreams after what I've been reading.... :veryconfu
