Tampa Convention and Park crowding?

Don't know if any of the locals/frequent visitors can shed light on this, but here goes...

So let's say a large convention is taking place in Tampa. If said purely hypothetical convention were to start on a Monday, could we expect a bump in park attendance the weekend before it begins? Or is Tampa too far away?

Tampa is only about an hour or so drive away from Disney property... so it's not too far away. If there was to be some large scale convention in Tampa, there might be a slight bump in attendance, but I don't think it will be anything huge.
