Taking food into the parks...

Hey all,

We've not been for a few years but are awaiting our upcoming trip in 32 days! In the past we've always taken sandwiches to the parks with us to save cost a little bit - We're your typical Brits :) The last time we went they seemed to be clamping down a little bit on taking food into the parks - has this clamping down continued over the past couple of years?

Saw tons of people that brown bagged their lunches 2 weeks ago. I'd toss snack packs into my edc; the only thing security said to me was that the umbrella I packed was going to bring bad luck, weather wise. (Which it didn't!) Also carried a 20oz Zojirushi bottle full of ice water. Never once had that questioned; so you could fill one up with soup, or something.

You just can't bring coolers into the park.

When you say typical Brits do you mean you take in Butter and Cucumber sandwiches? When I was a kid we visited the UK and I loved those little things. Now not so mush.

As long as you're not take food into the park in quantities that may indicate that you're selling it to other guests you'll be fine

As for us Brits - can't beat cucumber sandwiches, cut into triangles with the crusts cut off :hungry:

Lol probably. Seriously that's the kind if food sold in Tea Rooms here and still made by middle-class grannies.

We wouldn't mention the butter though, that's a given.

My wife brings coffee with her when we come to Orlando as she says they don't sell any she likes as much as English coffee in the American supermarkets. I'm strange as I don't drink coffee or tea but always tease her when I see her packing coffee before we leave for the states.

I don't drink tea or coffee either and always get called strange. Maybe we're normal...!
