Taking an Uber from on off-site hotel to an on-site one, possible?

Hey all! I will be using Uber for the first time ever for this trip in August.

I read how to take Ubers back and forth to the parks and what not, but what if I want to take one to the Polynesian resort? Do I have to go to MK Ticket center first and then take the monorail?

You can take Uber or Lyft wherever you like. If you are taking an Uber from off Disney property to the Poly, the car will drop you off at the main lobby of the Poly.

There are roads to, and parking at every resort. How else would those resort guests who drive to WDW get there? So yes, Uber, or Lyft, or a taxi can drop you at the Poly front door.

My concern was the Disney resort check-in gates, where they would scan your MagicBand. I thought if you weren't staying on site, then an Uber was not accessible to go through those. But, this is why I ask!

Just let them know you are visiting the resort. It shouldn't be a problem.
