Tails on Slinky Dog Dash's Ride Vehicles temporarily removed

It has been reported that the tails on the ride vehicles have been removed. Does anyone have any insight on this?

All jokes aside, I’m curious to what happened, since some rides that have had pieces afixed to the rear car have had problems in the past.

Seen a few photos that show no tails on the vehicles today. They have just been removed.

Slinky dog was chasing his tail and ---- caught it!

All I could assume is that the bouncy-ness of the tails was causing some issue with the trains and gravity at the rear of the vehicle.

I'm not sure what the details of this story are, but if there is one thing I am sure of, it's that the tails are gone because Bob Iger is literally both Hitler and Satan.

Recently some of slinky's coils were covered with a gray sheet as they started breaking off since somethings guest would hold onto them.
