I love this show but I think it could use a major refubishment. The chairs are all falling apart it looks HORRIBLE! Has anyone else noticed this? I suppose a cleaning couldn't hurt either.
I was thouroughly dissappointed the last time i rode because my seath was not functioning and did not drop at the end of the show like it had the first time i rode it, that was one of the fun and exciting elements of the show and i was upset that me and my friends did not get to experience that little heartleap at the end, it totally got me the first time i rode it!
How about the burn in of the Cyberdine (sp?) logo on the screens in the pre-show room? The last time I was there (July) it was REALLY bad. I think it makes the preshow look tacky. To me, that's the type of thing that should be considered during the development of the attraction. If they know there is going to be X ammount of time between performances in the pre show room, they should have some sort of plan so that the sam eimage isn't being shown on the screen the entire time...
This is EASILY my favorite attraction at USF (we'll have to wait and see about Revenge of the Mummy) and I really hope it gets a refurbishment. T2-3D is the main reason I walk over to USF during my yearly visit to IOA (I buy 3 day passes to use this privilage).
And yes if you haven't seen the show before you HAVE to sit in the front section of the seats. The back section doesn't get the same kind of effects, you can't see the live actors as well, and the 3-D image looks every bit as good in the front as it does in the back (which is definately not the case at some WDW 3-D shows).
I am not really the right person to be in this thread but I'll tell you my deal...I've been on the ride twice-once with my family and once with the express tour. We had the tour just to our family so it was very personal. We asked to go on T23D so we did. It was good but the guide seemed very embarassed. He usually told us all about the rides there and he was so enthusiastic about every ride ESPECIALLY KONGfrontation (R.I.P.) But he didn't tell us anything about T23D. In fact, I didn't know there was a "Drop" in there until i read this.
How long has it been open for? I think they should change it slightly and re name it, as with the release on Terminator 3, calling it Terminator 2 3D seems outdated.
